A little personal info
Originally from Invercargill I have lived in Torbay/Long Bay for the past 35 years, and have lived in three properties at Long Bay Beach, one of them being Vaughan Homestead. Now, I live in a cute little cottage in Torbay I call ‘The Writery.’
In 1997 I owned a timber yard in Browns Bay, and since then have worked mostly in administration roles. I’m currently employed by a pump rental company in Beach Haven, as their national administrator.
Most of Riverstones was written during the 2 years I spent house sitting and I finished writing it in ‘The Writery’. When I’m not working, or socialising, I’m writing.
I am blessed with 2 adult sons, one grandson and one granddaughter and 2 grand puppies, and am happily married to my fireman, Terry.
